It is predicted that by 2066 people aged over 65 years old will make up 26% of the population, with the over-85 aged bracket trebling in that time, according to the Office of National Statistics.
With the aging population growing rapidly, now is an ideal time to consider running your own business in the mobility industry.
Who We’re Looking for
If you are you driven by a passion for helping others, enthusiastic to succeed, and have the ambition and determination to run an ethical business, we want to hear from you.
While experience of the commercial world is an advantage, you do not need to have any specific background to succeed. Among our franchisees have been members of the armed services, teachers, retailers, engineers, public service employees, and sales and marketing people.
All franchisees benefit from Ableworld’s comprehensive training programme which covers all sides of the business. Over six weeks you will spend time at our head office and with key suppliers. The programme also includes several weeks’ on-the-job training, from experienced Ableworld trainers, in Ableworld stores and your own franchise store.
Prospective franchisees will need an investment of £75K-£80K which includes everything you need to start up including stock and setting up the store. Finance is available from UK banks for up to 70% of the initial investment (subject to status).

Ableworld has mobility superstores in England, Wales, and Scotland. We have availability for more franchises across mainland UK and have mapped out some generous exclusive territories which would make excellent opportunities for potential franchise partners.
