Embracing the Vision: Highlights from Ableworld’s 2025 Business Conference

On Monday, 29th September, we welcomed our franchise network to Cranage Hall Hotel for our Annual Business Conference, themed “Embracing the Vision”. The event showcased our mission to put customers at the heart of everything we do while supporting franchisees to grow and succeed.

The day was packed with insights and learning opportunities. Neil Cox updated attendees on the company’s achievements and shared the vision for the year ahead. Paul Jackson, Senior IT & Projects Manager, discussed cyber security, drawing lessons from the recent M&S attack, and highlighted system improvements designed to protect our network. Regional Managers, Lee Hollis and Rob McCllelland, explored standards and range reviews, helping franchisees deliver excellence in store.

Guest speaker, Tom Watson from Six & Flow, shared how HubSpot will enhance marketing across the network, while Chantelle Apilats, Senior Stairlift Manager, provided stairlift insights, covering sales conversions and diary management. Guest speaker, Neil Brunning from Electric Mobility, looked at future technology, including the benefits of LiFe batteries.

Non-Executive Directors, Paul Boniface and Ken Deary, led breakout sessions on leadership, vision, and long-term growth. The day concluded with Tim Arthur’s keynote, which reinforced the importance of mindset, leadership, and keeping the customer at the centre of every decision.

Franchisees also celebrated achievements during the awards ceremony, recognising the dedication, innovation, and impact across the network over the past year.

The conference reinforced Ableworld’s ethos, combining national credibility with local independence, supporting franchisees, and making a real difference for customers and communities alike.
