Ableworld's Annual Business Conference 2024: Celebrating Success and Embracing Innovation

This week, we hosted our Annual Business Conference at the beautiful Cranage Hall Hotel, bringing together business partners from across the UK for a memorable two-day event. The evening began with a fantastic celebration dinner, including an awards ceremony and entertainment, where we recognised the outstanding achievements of our partners.

The following day was filled with insightful presentations. We were privileged to hear from external speakers such as Handicare, who shared the latest developments in stairlifts, Iqbal Mobarik, who discussed the innovative systems and technologies being introduced across the business, and Chantry, who emphasized the importance of company structure, and exit strategies, and the resales process.

Our internal team also delivered key presentations, with Paul Rowland, Senior Logistics Manager, introducing the new SharePoint and Builder systems and explaining their impact on improving communication and operational efficiency. Dave Tavernor followed with an engaging session on community engagement, stressing how it plays a critical role in the success of our franchise network. Additionally, attendees enjoyed an inspiring fireside chat with Ken Deary, board member of Ableworld and founder of Right at Home UK, where he shared his journey and valuable business insights.

To close the day, our Senior Managers and Business Partners were treated to an inspiring talk from Scotty Mills, former Royal Marines Major. His session on leadership and resilience left everyone feeling energized and motivated for the future, making it a fitting end to a highly successful conference.
